About us
Hi! I’m Louise,
The founder of Let’s Go!
Here’s a little about me and how this adventure began!
I live in Whitefield, North Manchester, with my youngest daughter, Rosalie, who’s 13. I’ve been home educating her for almost four years now, and I’m still loving every minute! I also have two grown-up children, Jess, aged 25, and Will, aged 23.
It was during our home education journey that I recognised the need for regular meet-ups where children could socialise and form long-lasting friendships.
Then, one Wednesday in January 2022, while Rosie was bouncing around at Flipout, I found myself chatting with another home ed dad about my new bus. Ideas were flowing, and just like that, Let’s Go! was born! After some help with my first-ever promo video and making sure I had all the right insurance in place, I officially launched the business on Facebook.
The page grew quickly, and so did the Let’s Go! Family. I’m thrilled to now offer year-round day trips for children who want to get out, meet new friends, and have loads of fun! We welcome all children between 8-15 years old, and our school holiday trips are especially popular.
Our trips explore a variety of exciting destinations: museums, parks, swimming pools, mini hikes, forests, and so much more. Each week brings a new adventure!
To ensure everyone’s safety, I often work alongside another fully qualified and vetted team member. This gives you, as parents and carers, peace of mind, knowing your children are in safe hands while you take some time for yourself or catch up on work.

Hey there! I'm Stef,
Chief Volunteer!
Here’s a little about me and how I came to be a part of Let's Go! Mcr
I live in Salford with my youngest daughter, Alexa, who’s 14, and started my home educating journey with my eldest daughter Paige in 2018, who’s now 19. Alexa finished primary school 3 years ago and wanted to give home educating a try – she hasn’t looked back!
My journey into home education has given me a deep understanding of the unique needs and strengths of neurodivergent children, especially as my daughters have ASD and ADHD.
I first connected with Let’s Go! Mcr in 2022 when Louise offered to take Alexa out for the day to film her promo video. Alexa wasn’t comfortable going without me, so Louise warmly insisted that I join them. We both had so much fun and loved the concept of what Louise was doing that I immediately offered to volunteer when needed. Louise welcomed Alexa like one of her own, and soon, Alexa was attending the trips independently!
As the trips grew in popularity, it became clear that an extra set of hands was needed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all the children. After a thorough DBS check, Louise welcomed me to join the crew, and I became more and more involved. I’ve now been on over 300 trips and have loved every minute, helping children explore, engage, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
Through my work with Let’s Go! Mcr, I bring my experience as a home educator and as a parent of neurodivergent children. I’m passionate about creating opportunities for young people to connect with others, build confidence, and discover new experiences in a way that’s both fun and inclusive. It’s an honor to be part of a team that’s dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of so many children and their families.
Working behind the scenes...
At Let’s Go! Mcr, we’re fortunate to have a wonderful team of volunteers working behind the scenes to help make each trip memorable. We have talented individuals dedicated to building and designing our website, ensuring that families can easily find and book upcoming adventures.
Our community also includes those who regularly share ideas for exciting new places to explore, helping us keep our outings fresh and fun. We’re grateful for those who generously lend their advice and support whenever we need it, allowing us to grow and adapt to better serve our families.
Our volunteers are an essential part of Let’s Go! Mcr, and their commitment helps us keep going, creating opportunities and experiences for young people. Thank you for being part of our journey!
