How to Book Your Trip with Let’s Go! Mcr
We make it easy to book a fun and engaging day out with Let’s Go! Mcr! Just follow these simple steps to secure a spot for your child on one of our upcoming adventures.
Choose Your Trip
Visit our Upcoming Trips page to explore our current lineup of events. We offer a variety of outings designed for young people aged 8-15, especially those from neurodivergent backgrounds, to help them form friendships and experience new adventures. Check out the details for each trip to find the best fit for your child.
Check Availability
To see if there are available spots for the trip you’re interested in, click on the “Book Now” button found above the schedule. You’ll be directed to our external booking platform, Bookwhen, where you can view all available dates and prices.
Complete the Booking Form
Fill in your details on the booking form, ensuring that we have the essential information to make the trip safe and enjoyable for your child. Please let us know about any specific needs or accommodations required for your child, so we can make sure they have a comfortable and positive experience with us.
Make Payment
Payment is made securely online when completing your booking. Please only book if you’re confident your child can attend, as places are limited.
If you’re claiming Universal Credit childcare costs, please ensure you tick the “Invoice required” box when booking.
You’ll still make payment in full at the time of booking, but this ensures you’ll receive an invoice showing the date and amount paid, which can be used as evidence for your Universal Credit childcare claim.
If you’ve been allocated a funded or discounted place, select the appropriate option when booking or enter the code provided by the team.

Payment Options
If the trip requires a payment, Bookwhen will guide you through the secure payment process. You’ll receive a receipt for your records, and you’re all set!
Prepare for the Trip
Before the trip date, you will be added to a WhatsApp group where we’ll send a reminder with any necessary details such as what to bring and specific trip requirements. Our team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have leading up to the day.
Using Childcare Funding
(Tax-Free Childcare & Universal Credit)
Let’s Go! Mcr has an Ofsted registeration and is registered with the Government’s Childcare Choices scheme, meaning families can use:
Tax-Free Childcare, or
Universal Credit childcare support
to help cover the cost of eligible trips and activities.
Using Tax-Free Childcare
If you use Tax-Free Childcare, you may be able to pay for eligible trips or sessions through your government childcare account. To make sure your payment is correctly matched to your booking, please contact us directly before sending any payment.
We’ll provide you with the necessary details and do our best to guide you through the process step by step.
Claiming Back Through Universal Credit Childcare Costs
If you claim Universal Credit childcare costs, please:
Make your booking and payment through our usual system.
Tick the “Invoice required” box during checkout.
We’ll send an invoice at the end of the month showing the date and amount paid – ready to upload with your UC childcare cost claim.
Additional Information
- Refund Policy: If enough notice is given and the place can be filled, then we may be able offer you the chance to transfer the booking to anther date. Tickets are bought in advance for admission to most places and therefore typically no monies can be refunded unless otherwise stated.
- Special Requirements: If your child has any specific dietary, medical, or accessibility needs, please include them in your booking notes, or get in touch directly.
