Funded Places & Eligibility

Eligibility

Funded places are intended for families who:

  • Receive Universal Credit or other income-based benefits, or
  • Are experiencing financial hardship that would otherwise prevent their child from attending.

We may occasionally ask for brief confirmation of circumstances to ensure places are distributed fairly.

Allocation

  • Each eligible young person will be given a set number of opportunities per month to access either a partially funded or fully funded trip.
  • Allocations will be reviewed quarterly to ensure the funding continues to reach those most in need.
  • The number of funded places may vary depending on overall funding and trip costs.

Attendance

  • Please only book if you are confident your child can attend.
  • If your child cannot make it, please let us know as soon as possible so the place can be reallocated.
  • Repeated non-attendance without notice may affect eligibility for future funded places.

How Funding Helps

  • Our National Lottery funded places help us to:
  • Support young people who would otherwise miss out on group activities,
  • Provide opportunities for those who might otherwise face financial barriers to socialise and build confidence,
  • Ensure families experiencing hardship can still take part in safe, positive community experiences.

Transparency

Let’s Go! Mcr keeps clear and accurate records of how all funded places are allocated, to remain accountable to the National Lottery Community Fund and our wider community.
